The Law Offices of Barry Kreisler, P.C. has extensive experience handling appeals in the Illinois, Indiana and Federal Appellate Courts. For more than 35 years, the firm's attorneys have handled appeals for clients and for other attorneys by referral. Referring trial attorneys with skills best suited to court room trial advocacy or who aren't able to make the extensive time commitments necessary or who simply choose not to become involved in the heavily research oriented process and the lengthy written presentations required for effective appellate work frequently employ us as appellate counsel or co-counsel.
We work with trial attorneys on appellate matters on whatever basis meets their needs, whether by simply taking the entire matter off of their hands, by providing an advisory
opinion on the prospects for success on appeal or by handling the procedural details of the appeal or the research and drafting work necessary to preparation of effective briefs in the appellate courts.
